Patricia Perry joined KCBD in January of 2022 as an intern then was hired as a reporter in April of 2022. She is proud to call Lubbock her hometown. Patricia watched KCBD News Channel 11 every night with her grandmother while she was growing up.

When she was in elementary school, a KCBD reporter asked her if she wanted to say how many cans of food her school raised for the U Can Share Food Drive on TV. Patricia was so excited that she had the opportunity to be on the news and she constantly talked about how one day she wanted to work for a news station. In high school, Patricia was a part of Lubbock ISD TV where she competed in contests and grew her love for journalism. She carried that into college to become the student assistant for Texas Tech's student newscast, MCTV.

Patricia loves her home, Lubbock, and is excited to share stories in the community.
