Melek is a Memphis native who joined Action News 5 as an Intern in October 2023. He was later promoted to Content Producer in February 2023. Melek graduated from the University of Memphis in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a minor in Advertising. Melek loves sports and hopes to one day become a sports reporter.
