Kierstin Foote joined the WAVE News team in June 2024 as a reporter and weekend sunrise co-anchor.
Born and raised in Lincoln, NE, Kierstin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in broadcast news and a minor in political science and hospitality management. Go Huskers!
Kierstin started her career doing an internship at her hometown station, KOLN before moving to a full-time reporter. During her time in Lincoln, Kierstin coveted a late season wildfire that affected much of the southern part of the county, as well as numerous community events and elections.
