Kate Norum

Kate Norum graduated from Kennesaw State University in May 2021 and has been interested in storytelling from a young age.

The majority of her experience is in the sports space and she's excited to take on a more digitally focused role. She got her first taste of sports writing while in undergrad for Kennesaw State's student newspaper, The Sentinel and from there she's taken on a plethora of freelance projects in social media and writing, more recently for Beyond Goals Mentoring, a soccer mentoring organization founded by former pros: Greg Garza and Michael Parkhurst.

Even dabbling with creating a sports digital show for Georgia State University Athletics, "What's Poppin' Wednesday," Kate is eager to share news that matters.

Kate is excited to grow in her new role here in the Tennessee Valley and be a part of the WAFF 48 Digital Team.
