Brady Talbert
Reporter/MMJ
Brady Talbert joined the WBRC 6 News team in June 2024, but he’s no stranger to Birmingham or central Alabama. He grew up in Alabaster with a video camera in his hands, teaching himself to edit in middle school. After joining his high school’s broadcast team, he discovered his passion for television news.
Brady earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Troy University. There he served as the student news director, anchor and reporter for TROY TrojanVision News, the university’s student-led television station.
Previously, Brady served as the weekend evening news anchor and a weekday reporter at WSFA 12 News in Montgomery. During his time in the Capital City, he covered the state legislature, the Dadeville mass shooting, the deadly Autauga County twister and much more.
Over the years, Brady has reported stories over television, radio, print and digital. On a national level, he shared stories through social media during an internship with NBC News. Brady enjoys the thrill of chasing stories that matter to the community and that keep you safe.
When not at work, Brady can be seen hanging out with family and friends, being involved in church and attempting to have a green thumb. Have a story idea? Send him an email or message him on social media (he’ll appreciate your follow too).
