Taylor Pollock
Taylor Pollock is a Breaking News Reporter/MMJ at WBRC 6 News. She joined the team in May of 2023.
Some of the highlights during Taylor’s time at WBRC include covering the kidnapping hoax of Carlee Russell, and following the journey of police officer Jerry Hughes-Karrh search for a kidney. This coverage helped connect Hughes- Karrh with a compatible donor, and for which Taylor was honored by the City of Vestavia Hills.
Taylor is no stranger to Alabama. She previously spent the last four years at WBRC’s sister station WTVY in Dothan. Taylor started out as a weekend anchor/MMJ and was promoted to evening anchor at WTVY in March of 2020.
Before her time in Dothan, Taylor also interned at sister station WSFA in Montgomery, AL.
Taylor is a proud graduate of Troy University, and during her time there served as the student news director, anchor, and reporter for its student-run television station TROY TrojanVision News.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys listening to music, watching documentaries and spending time with her family, cats, and dog.
