Morgan Harris

Morgan Harris grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. A graduate of Clinton High School, Morgan went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA in December of 2022. There, she was initiated into the Beta Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She used the scholarship dollars that she earned through competing in the Miss Mississippi Scholarship Program to help pay for her education.

Through her internship at WLBT News, she discovered her love for storytelling. Morgan loves that each day in journalism brings her to a different person with a different, unique story to tell.
