Julius Evans

Julius Evans joined the WRDW/WAGT team in June 2024 as a multimedia journalist.

He is originally from Missouri and chose to further his education at the University of Missouri. He graduated in May of 2024 with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Julius started his career two years ago as a reporter for KOMU 8 News in Columbia, Missouri, where he told the stories from various communities across mid-Missouri. It was during that time that he developed a passion for telling stories and keeping people informed.

He is excited to continue to tell the stories that matter in his community, while also learning everything the Southeast has to offer.

During Julius’ free time, he loves to spend time with family, going on runs and attending sporting events.
