(Gray News) – Verizon said service has been fully restored following a network outage that left many customers unable to send calls or texts.

Verizon made the announcement in a post on X Monday night and apologized for any inconveniences its customers experienced during the hourslong outage.

The company said anyone still have issues should restart their phones.

Hundreds of thousands of Verizon users reported service issues Monday morning, according to Downdetector.

The nationwide outage left many customers unable to send calls or texts.

Many people left comments on the outage service website saying they were stuck in SOS mode, while others had bars but still were unable to utilize the service.
