JAY COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA/Gray News) - A former sheriff’s deputy is accused of using a Facebook page meant for investigations to harass a woman he once went on a date with.

Derek Bogenschutz, 36, is accused of using a Facebook account under the name “Katie Morgan” to harass an elementary school teacher who he once took on a date, according to an Indiana State Patrol affidavit.

Bogenschutz, previously substituted as a part-time resource officer at the elementary school.

He allegedly contacted the teacher via the fake Facebook profile to claim that the woman’s boyfriend was “playing” them both, according to court records.
