Trailer ripped off of semi by sign on highway

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH/Gray News) - Officials are scratching their heads trying to figure out how the trailer of a semi ended up in a precarious position on a highway.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol shared a photo of the trailer Tuesday morning.
The photo shows the trailer stuck perpendicular to the sign over Interstate 35 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
“It appears the driver was raising his trailer as he was going down I-35 and did not know it until it hit the sign and ripped it off his truck,” troopers wrote on X.
The outside lane of northbound I-35 at Ardmore was closed due to the accident.
