GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) - A 14-year-old boy was found safe, and his parents were arrested after the Indiana State Police SWAT executed search and arrest warrants at a home in Logansport, Indiana, early Wednesday morning, the Indiana State Police said.

The boy “appeared safe and well,” according to a news release from the state police.

The news release said the teenager’s parents, Daniel and Kristin Muir, were taken into custody without incident and remanded to the Cass County Jail.

Former NFL player Daniel Muir is charged with one count of obstruction of justice and one count of domestic battery.

Kristin Muir is charged with one count of obstruction of justice.

A Silver Alert was issued for the teen on June 28, who left his grandmother’s home in Garfield Heights on June 16.

Daniel Muir played for multiple teams during his NFL career, including four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, according to his ESPN profile.
