Rapid City approved highest number of building permits in May since 2022

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -In May 2024, Rapid City approved the highest number of building permits in one month since May 2022.
294 permits were approved and are valued at over 20 million dollars. These permits include residential, commercial, and single-family homes.
This year’s valuation for the first five months is ranked fifth in the last decade. The total permit valuation in 2024 is over 140 million dollars.
