Governor Kristi Noem’s support for Trump strong despite not being Vice Presidential nominee
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Governor Kristi Noem sat down with CNN to talk about her visit to Wisconsin this past weekend where she was actively campaigning for Donald Trump.
In her interview, Noem was asked about the 2024 Presidential race and whether or not she is still a candidate to be his running mate for Vice President. As of now, Noem is not on the list of seven potential contenders, but her support for the former president hasn’t wavered.
“I’ve told President Trump over and over again he needs to pick whoever helps him win. I have been loyal to him since the very beginning when he first started to run in 2016. He told me his priority is picking a running mate that can govern on day one. I don’t care, I love my job in South Dakota. I care about the fact that I want him to win and he knows that I will do that,” Noem said.
Noem went on to say she is proud of Trump and that she’s never seen anybody work as hard as him purely because of his love for America.
