State prison offenders placed on escape status

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Two state prison offenders have been placed on escape status.

Adam Poor Bear and Ryan Shot With Arrow left the Rapid City Minimum Center without authorization on May 29.

Poor Bear, 30, is a Native American male. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is serving sentences for first-degree robbery and possession of a controlled substance from Pennington County.

Shot With Arrow, also 30, is a Native American male. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is serving sentences for aggravated assault, grand theft, and possession of a controlled substance from Minnehaha County.

Leaving a correctional facility without authorization constitutes second-degree escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
