State softball, golf on the horizon
Softball tournament kicks off this weekend in Aberdeen, golf next week East River

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Although school is out for summer, high school sports are still in session. Track and field came to a close last weekend at Howard Wood Stadium, but there’s still state softball and golf to be played. State softball will take place this upcoming weekend in Aberdeen. Class “AA” will play at Northern State’s softball complex, while Class “A” and “B” will also be in Aberdeen at the Players Softball Complex.
State golf gets underway next week Monday. Class “AA” girls will play at Hillcrest Country Club in Yankton. Class “A” girls at Bakker Crossing in Sioux Falls and Class “B” girls at Edgebrook in Brookings. Class “B” boys will also tee off in Brookings.
