RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - On the night of September 23, 2023, Terrance ‘Big Nation’ Little Thunder was riding his motorcycle down Haines Avenue in Rapid City when he was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash. According to eyewitnesses, a woman in a white pickup truck was responsible. As of now, the driver in question still hasn’t been identified.

Little Thunder’s family and friends gathered Monday at Canyon Lake Park to celebrate what would have been his 43rd birthday. Little Thunder stood at seven feet tall - and his family members said his personality was even bigger than he was.

“The friendliest man around,” Fancee Hollow Horn said, Little Thunder’s sister. “You know, caring, happy. There’s nothing my brother wouldn’t do to help somebody.”

Hollow Horn and her relatives haven’t given up on the search for Little Thunder’s killer. They are offering a $20,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the driver’s arrest. Those who have information should notify the Rapid City Police Department.
