Warmer for the weekend
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Sunshine returns Saturday as temperatures climb into the 50s and 60s by the afternoon. Sunday will be even warmer with highs in the 60s and 70s. We begin Sunday with sunshine, but clouds develop in Wyoming during the afternoon, along with a few showers and storms. Those storms will push eastward into South Dakota by early Sunday evening. Sunday will also be windy.
This will be the beginning of a pattern change for next week. Temperatures next week will be in the 50s for the most part. A couple days could come close to the low 60s. Mostly cloudy to overcast skies are expected with showers likely at times. Wind gusts could reach 40 mph or higher each day, too. Not the most ideal forecast, but at least it is rather nice for the weekend.
Temperatures for next weekend could climb into the 60s with a fair amount of sunshine.
