‘We’re so excited to be able to offer this’: Children’s hospital hosts teen prom for patients
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) - Patients at St. Louis Children’s Hospital felt like a million bucks Friday night.
The hospital hosted its annual teen prom on Friday.
For the second year, the hospital teamed up with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation for this annual event.
It is a welcome distraction from a hospital stay or being in outpatient.
“I just think that it’s really special that people from the hospital can get together and spend time together,” said Adalin Hoffman, a patient at the hospital.
“We’re so excited to be able to offer this to them while they’re here at the hospital,” said Cassidi Merano, St. Louis Children’s Hospital life specialist.
The children got the star treatment, getting their makeup and nails done. They had photoshoots and danced the night away on the dance floor.
This is the 10th teen prom held at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
