The record store of wines: BB’s Natural

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - When you think of wine you may think of Italy or Paris, however, did you know the United States is one of the top producers of wine, according to Wine America.

If you want to consume some of those unique flavors of wine, you can find them here in downtown Rapid City.

“We’re the only natural wine bar in Rapid City and one of two in the state,” said Brooke Warner, co-owner, of BB’s Natural.

BB’s Natural is a wine and provisions bar that only sells natural wine, beer, and some food items.

So what exactly is natural wine?

“There are a lot of things that you can do in the wine-making process to go from grape to wine. It starts with soil, land, agriculture and can go as far as to the packaging. So, the idea behind natural wine is doing as little meddling as possible,” Justin Warner, co-owner, of BB’s Natural, said.

Natural wine is not only good for the planet but can have some benefits for the consumer.

“We pay a lot of attention to the foods that we eat and where they come from, but for some reason, we haven’t been doing that with the beverages that we drink,” said Brooke Warner.

The Warner’s will be celebrating their second year of business in June.
