Mostly Sunny Skies, But Cooler Air Sticks Around
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -
We are seeing those temperatures drop off tonight with 20s likely in Rapid City, Mostly clear skies remain in the forecast and we will be on the colder side. Temperatures for the day tomorrow are looking to stay fairly cool with breezy conditions remaining. So if you have any packages coming tomorrow, make sure they don’t fly away during the day. Futurecast is showing that we are seeing a few clouds over the area during the day tomorrow, but a majority of us will see mostly sunny skies. Northwestern South Dakota will likely see a little more cloud coverage than most. Those mostly sunny skies are looking to stick around for the weekend. Temperatures into the overnight hours drop into the 20s in most locations as we see mostly clear skies settle in. Winds start to die down into the overnight hours only at around 5 to 15 mph. Tomorrow, we will be chilyl and breezy throughout the day with temperatures likely staying in the 30s and 40s by the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies dominate the forecast. The next three days in NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills shows that we are going to see those sunny days stick around for the next few days and temperatures start to rebound by the end of the weekend. Rapid City also seeing the temperature rebound by Sunday with near to above average temperatures likely for all of next week. A few showers are possible on Monday, however they will be fairly isolated.
