Man dies after being pinned under vehicle at tire shop, officials say

NEWNAN, Ga. (WANF/Gray News) - A 26-year-old man was killed after he was pinned underneath a recreational vehicle he was working on at a Newnan tire shop, according to authorities.
Timothy Welling was working on the RV at Buck’s Tires in Newnan, Georgia. The Coweta County Coroner’s Office said he was trying to take off a wheel and the RV slid off the air jack and pinned him underneath.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation.
