Elton John and Bernie Taupin receive Gershwin Prize for Popular Song

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Music legends Annie Lennox, Metallica, Garth Brooks and more descended on D.C. to honor Elton John and Bernie Taupin. The two icons were awarded the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Debra Alfarone takes viewers on to the red carpet and inside the award ceremony performances. PBS is airing the full concert Monday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
