RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -

Overnight tonight, we are going to see temperatures dip slightly below freezing with around the 30 degree mark likely in town. Mostly clear skies are going to dominate the forecast for tonight and will turn to be completely sunny by the time we head into the day tomorrow. We are going to see temperatures reach the 50s in Rapid City, however, others will be on the warmer side. Lots of sunshine is likely for tomorrow. Futurecast is not showing much over the next couple of days but that means that we are going to see a lot of that coveted sunshine. During the overnight hours, temperatures get down below freezing almost everywhere with temperatures in the 20s for some, 30s for others. Mostly clear skies are likely throughout the entire area. Complete sunshine is on tap for the day tomorrow as we warm up into the 50s and 60s across the area. The warmest spot will likely be out towards Sheridan where 70s are in play through the afternoon tomorrow. The next three days in NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills shows that 70s are likely for the next three days in Sheridan, Gillette sees 70s on Thursday and Spearfish sees them Friday. Rapid City stays in the 60s for the warmth this week, but lots of sunshine for the rest of your work week. Our next system starts its approach this weekend. Rain showers are likely both Saturday and Sunday. Next week we start in the 40s but warm back to average by midweek.
