RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -

Starting off in Downtown Rapid City this evening, we are showing a few clouds off in the distance and temperatures are still fairly warm. We are sitting in the 50s still in Rapid City and 40s and 50s are taking over the map tonight. Radar is showing some clouds and a few showers over the region, but most of it is fairly light precipitation. Tonight, partly cloudy skies take over and we wont be as windy. SW winds around 5 to 10 mph are possible, but partly cloudy skies stick around. Tomorrow, partly sunny skies with the possibility of a few isolated showers in the afternoon and evening. Futurecast showing the possibility of a few showers by the time we get to tomorrow afternoon with a few spots also seeing some snow flurries. Chances for flurries extends to the east on Sunday. Monday, a few flurries may remain in the morning. Winds pick up for the weekend with gusty winds lasting both Saturday and Sunday. Tonight, temperatures make it into the 30s for much of the area with partly cloudy skies taking over. The winds from earlier today will die down overnight and pick up during the day tomorrow with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 60s once again. A few spots in the Black Hills will stay in the 50s all day. Those winds could be gusting up to 45 mph at times. The next three days in NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills shows that we are going to be seeing temperatures starting to cool down over the weekend and stay that way until the start of next week. Snow showers possible almost everywhere for Sunday, including in Rapid City, albeit, low chances in town. Temperatures stay around or slightly below average for a majority of next week with sunshine through Wednesday before the possibility of some snow comes to end out the week.
