The Junior Kindergarten Pilot Program launch this school year

The Rapid City Area School District launched a junior kindergarten pilot program this school year. To help students who may not be fully prepared for their academic journey. Three elementary schools in the Rapid City area school district introduced the junior kindergarten pilot program this year... Valley View, South Park, and General Beadle Elementary. The program sets students up long term to be ready when they enter kindergarten ensuring a smooth transition. It gives the students an opportunity to build a solid foundation to able to learn new academic approaches and meet behavioral expectations.
