BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WFSB/Gray News) - The Foo Fighters have pulled out of a planned festival appearance that was scheduled for this weekend in Connecticut.

On Thursday, the band announced on social media that they would “no longer be appearing” at the Soundside Music Festival where they were set to headline Sunday’s second day of the event.

The band did not elaborate on the reason for them canceling such a performance.

Earlier this month, the band’s frontman Dave Grohl, 55, shared that he had welcomed a “new baby daughter” born outside of his marriage.

A spokesperson for this weekend’s festival said refunds are not being offered as Jack White and Greta Van Fleet had since joined the event’s lineup for Sunday night.

“Festival performers are subject to change or cancelation at any time without notice. No refund will be owed if a festival performer is changed or canceled. Prices are subject to change without notice,” a Soundside Music Festival spokesperson said.

Grohl and his wife, director Jordyn Blum, 48, have been married since 2003 and share three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
