Bowser the tortoise found after 2 days on the run

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - Bowser the tortoise was returned home Thursday after being on the run for two days.
On Thursday, police found Bowser walking along Interstate 205 in Portland, Oregon.
An officer with Multnomah County Animal Control learned that the tortoise had been reported missing on Tuesday from his home. He lives about 1.5 miles away and on the other side of the interstate from where he was found.
Bowser’s owner picked him up from animal control.
“It’s not clear where Bowser has been for the past two days, or how he traversed the interstate freeway, but PPB is gratified that he is safe and sound and back home with his family,” Portland Police Bureau said.
