ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WHNS/Gray News) - A litter of puppies was found abandoned in a plastic bin left out in the hot sun.

The person who found the puppies brought them to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville, North Carolina.

“A hot plastic tote bin left in the sun,” the rescue wrote on Facebook. “Inside? A sweet face peeks up. It felt like he was asking, ‘Are you going to help us? I don’t feel so good.’”

The rescue said the puppies were extremely dehydrated but are recovering.

The puppies will be up for adoption as soon as this week if they respond well to medication.
