HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF/Gray News) – One of the main actors from the movie “The Sandlot” was arrested in South Carolina in early June.

According to records, Thomas Guiry, who played Scotty Smalls and is the namesake of the quote “You’re killing me, Smalls,” is accused of damaging a Jeep’s windshield.

The report states that officers were talking with Guiry when his neighbor shouted, “Really, my window’s been shattered.”

The neighbor told the officer that Guiry damaged the windshield by using a 35-pound dumbbell weight.

“That sucks, man, I’ll pay you back, I’m sorry, I’m gonna get you back,” Guiry said to his neighbor, according to the police report.

While the reporting officer was looking at the damage done to the windshield of the Jeep, the report states that Guiry admitted to causing it.

The neighbor also told the officer that Guiry showed a knife and approached his door while ringing the doorbell.

Guiry is charged with third-degree assault and battery and malicious injury to personal property.
