RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - This weekend, Crazy Horse Memorial is partnering with Hill City Arts Council to present “Small Towns Big Art.”

The two shows, Fine Arts in the Hills (off of Main Street, Hill City, under the big tent) and Gift From Mother Earth (in the galleries of The Indian Museum of North America®), will feature over 40 artists from around the country.

Kristie Van Bogart, President of Hill City Arts Council says the art shows are again partnering to promote a greater art exhibition for the community to enjoy. Crazy Horses’ Travis Dewes, Cultural Programs Manager says it just makes sense because Hill City is just 10 minutes away and gives everyone unique access to art of many forms and cultural diversity. Van Bogart says to come and experience the beauty of art against the stunning backdrop of the Black Hills.

You can visit the art festival Friday through Sunday, June 14, 15 & 16 and enter into a raffle for dinner and a trip to the top of the Mountain for 4! During the three days of the Gift From Mother Earth, over 20 exhibitors showcase and sell a wide variety of artwork. Booths open at 8 am all three days. Awards are given in several art categories.
