RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -It was 52 years ago Sunday that Rapid City was hit by one of the deadliest floods in United States history. Jamie Johnson was a 13 year old boy who loved playing baseball. Jamie and 237 other people lost their lives that night. Today Jamie Johnson Memorial Field is named in his honor.
