RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Morning clouds and showers will quickly pull away and allow for plenty of sunshine by midday and afternoon today. It will remain breezy for much of the area with gusts up to 40 mph at times. Highs will be in the 70s.

Strong winds stick around into Wednesday, but skies will be mainly sunny. Temperatures will be in the 70s for many with a few spots in the 80s. It’ll continue to warm up for the second half of the week as highs will be near or in the 80s with plenty of sunshine.

The weekend will range from the 70s to the 80s. Storms will be possible Sunday and even into Monday, with the chance for severe storms both days.
