Cooler than normal through Friday, then warmer this weekend.
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - It will be cooler today with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the 60s for much of the area and winds will be out of the north to northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Isolated showers will push in from the south tonight and into Friday morning.
A few showers are possible Friday and possibly a storm in the afternoon. Skies are mostly cloudy with highs in the 60s and 70s.
We will warm back up over the weekend as temperatures return to the 70s and 80s. Plenty of sunshine is expected, but a few storms are possible over southwest South Dakota Saturday, and along and south of I-90 Sunday afternoon. No precipitation is expected in Wyoming.
Warm air sticks into next week with 70s and 80s expected. There might be a few storms Tuesday afternoon and evening.
