Culinary heaven: Rapid City’s Family Food Truck Night

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - It’s that time of the year again when the air is filled with the unmistakable mouth-watering delectable aromas from food trucks.

Family Food Truck Night is back at Canyon Lake Park and the plethora of options available to the public is what has made this once 5-food truck event grow to more than 30 food trucks in the season line-up. The creator of the food truck night at the park says the goal is for people to not only have fun but it’s also a perfect way for those food truck businesses to get more exposure as they continue to grow.

Family Food Truck Night's rotation continues to support local businesses, offering various options for everyone's palate.

“All of the other food trucks as well; we can help them grow too, you know because I’ve had that help. Everybody needs help, you know, everybody needs that help along the way. We had help along the way, and so that’s what I am trying to do for everybody else: just get their name out there and help them grow,” The Good Stuffed owner, Jesse Lee, expressed.

Family Food Truck Night is held every Tuesday at Canyon Lake Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and runs until September 24.
