On & Off Rain Showers Continue; Sunshine By Wednesday PM
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -
Overnight, rain showers persist across much of the area with temperatures remaining on the cooler side. Tomorrow, we are still dealing with some light on and off showers throughout the entire day, so the umbrella will be needed once again for the commute to and from work on Tuesday. Futurecast is showing that multiple rounds of rain are likely overnight with on and off showers possible for the afternoon tomorrow. By Wednesday, we might see a few early morning showers, but then we start to rapidly clear out during the late morning and early afternoon for some nice sunshine around the area for the middle of the week. Thursday, some more clouds begin to enter the area bringing some more isolated rain chances. Tonight, temperatures manage to drop a few more degrees into the mid 30s to upper 40s across the area. Rapid City will likely see temperatures in the mid 40s. Rain showers are going to continue, with otherwise cloudy skies. Tomorrow, we are once again cloudy with on and off rain showers throughout the day. Temperatures stay on the cooler side for another day this week with temperatures ranging anywhere from the upper 40s to the low to mid 60s. 60s generally stay out on the SD Plains and the 40s will likely be in the Southern Hills. The next three days in NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills shows that rain showers take a break for most on Wednesday, but some isolated to scattered showers are back in the forecast by Thursday. Rapid City will also see a break from the showers Wednesday afternoon but rain chances return for the end of the week. Memorial Day Weekend is looking like the best weather we will see all week. Sunshine and warmer temperatures return just in time for the holiday weekend, making outdoor activities picture perfect.
