Dream Design International, Spearfish partner to provide affordable housing

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - A partnership between Dream Design International and the City of Spearfish is working to provide quality and affordable housing for the community.

Sky Ridge is an expansive housing development spread across 150 acres in Spearfish. This new and upcoming neighborhood offers mountain views and easy access to the interstate.

Kelly Arguello, construction manager for Sky Ridge, says they are committed to creating an enjoyable community atmosphere.

“We are trying to keep these homes affordable for first-time home buyers and give them things they want in a home purchase. A home purchase is one of the biggest investments and commitments you make in your life, and we are trying to make that experience seamless and enjoyable, and the end result is a quality home for these people who work hard for their money,” Arguello said.

When finished, the development will contain 178 houses, and a 40-acre sports complex with soccer and softball fields that is already nearing completion.
