Showers and storms will get rid of much of the smoke Tuesday
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Isolated showers and thunderstorms will pass through the area overnight as temperatures drop into the 40s and 50s.
Storms continue on Tuesday with highs in the 60s for many. A few 50s in the hills and 70s on the plains. The moisture will help push much of the smoke out of western South Dakota and surrounding areas.
Showers and storms will be possible at times on Wednesday and may linger into Thursday, where highs range from the 60s to the 70s.
Friday will be much warmer with plenty of sunshine. Many will reach the 70s by the afternoon, but some spots will hit 80°! Don’t get used to the warm air as below normal temperatures and above normal moisture are expected next week and into the following weekend.
