Vaccine for UTI in development, offering relief to frequent infections

(InvestigateTV) — Urinary tract infections are uncomfortable and inconvenient. Not to mention, they can be deadly.

Thousands of people die in the U.S. each year and millions head to the doctor or the emergency room because of these painful infections.

According to the U.S. Office on Women’s Health, more than half of women will experience a urinary tract infection, or UTI, in their lifetime.

There’s new hope for those who suffer from frequent UTIs.
