RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Another round of showers will develop today across South Dakota and Wyoming. Highs will range from the 50s to the 60s with plenty of cloud cover sticking around. The good news is that skies will clear up Friday with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s once again.

Much warmer air settles in for Mother’s Day weekend. Highs will be in the 70s for many with plenty of sunshine. There is the chance for a few afternoon storms on Mother’s Day itself, especially around the Black Hills, so if you have any outdoor plans scheduled, keep an eye to the sky.

Above average temperatures are likely next week with afternoon storm chances for the first half.
