Showers Remain in the Forecast Tomorrow, Drying Out By Friday

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -

Overnight temperatures make it into the low 40s in Rapid City where we are going to see mostly cloudy skies across the area. A few spots around the Hills could see some showers overnight. Tomorrow, showers return to the forecast across the area with temperatures staying in the low 50s all day long making it Rapid City’s coolest day this week. Winds will still be a bit breezy out there with winds up to 20 mph throughout the day. Futurecast is showing that we still have two more days of moisture in the forecast for both Wednesday and Thursday with drier conditions finally here by Friday. Overnight we see temperatures making it into the 30s for the most part with a few spots only getting into the low 40s. Mostly cloudy skies are dominant throughout the nighttime hours with breezy conditions remaining. Tomorrow, temperatures stay fairly cool with 40s and 50s likely across the area. Rain showers throughout the day are possible in and around the Black Hills area. Breezy conditions last throughout the day tomorrow too. The next three days shows that we are going to see some clearing by the time we get to Friday with temperatures reflecting that, back in the 60s in both NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills. Rapid City will see drier conditions by the time we are heading into the start of the weekend. Mostly sunny skies dominate Friday through the middle of next week with temperatures back in the 70s for the weekend and the start of next week.
