Partly Cloudy Tomorrow With Stray Showers Possible, Mostly Dry
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -
Tonight, we are going to see temperatures make it into the mid to low 30s with decreasing clouds after midnight. We remain chilly tonight in Rapid City, but tomorrow we are much warmer. Temperatures make it into the mid 60s by the afternoon with partly cloudy skies. We cannot rule out a stray shower during the afternoon. Futurecast shows the stray showers after lunchtime tomorrow with some sun and some clouds. A bigger chance for rain starts overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning. Wednesday we see an increase in cloud coverage. That is our next system starting to move through. Overnight, temperatures are going to start to drop and become kind of chilly. A few spots will even get below freezing tonight. We are going to see temperatures make a rebound during the day tomorrow. Partly cloudy skies are likely during almost the entire day tomorrow with 60s likely everywhere. A stray shower cannot be ruled out for tomorrow afternoon. The next three days in NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills show that we are going to see showers start by the time we get to the middle of the week. Temperatures stay around average for those days too. Rapid City seeing some isolated rain chances for the middle to end of the week. Temperatures staying right around average for Wednesday through the end of the week. Cinco De Mayo looks to be warmer with some mostly sunny skies.
