Sunday will be cooler and breezy

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Breezy conditions continue Sunday, but temperatures will be colder. Highs will be in the 40s for many, but with the wind will make temperatures feel more like the 30s. Expect plenty of sunshine in South Dakota, with partly cloudy skies across Wyoming.

Warmer air returns early next week with highs in the 60s Monday and Tuesday. Plenty of sunshine is expected both days, too. Temperatures will start to cool off by Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the 40s and 50s.

The cooling trend will stick around late next week and into the following weekend, where below normal temperatures are expected. The pattern could turn a bit active, too. Above normal moisture is forecast during that time period. We’re still about a week out from anything happening, so we will keep an eye on the latest forecast and keep you updated as needed.
