Cold today with a few snow showers; milder and sunny Friday.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Today will be cloudy with snow showers possible at times. It will be colder with highs in the 30s for many. Accumulations will be light, if any. Southwest South Dakota will be the area with the highest chance of seeing snow accumulations.

Skies clear up Friday and will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will be closer to average with highs back in the 40s. Warmer air will build through the weekend with highs in the 50s on Saturday and 60s by Sunday. Warm air will stick around into early next week with plenty of sunshine.

There will be a slight drop in temperatures for the second half of next week with highs falling into the 40s and 50s. We might see some rain showers either late Wednesday or Thursday next week.
