Amber Alert canceled in Ohio, child found safe

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) - The 3-year-old girl at the center of Monday’s Amber Alert in Ohio has been found safe, according to Rocky River Police Chief George Lichman.

The suspect, 40-year-old Cathleen Marie Collins, was taken into custody in the Strongsville area.

North Olmsted City School District Superintendent David Brand confirmed she has been employed as an intervention specialist for the district since 2015. She has been placed on paid leave while the investigation is ongoing, he said.
