Police: Man arrested for threatening people with samurai sword at Walmart

VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV/Gray News) - Police in Washington state arrested a man Sunday after several people called and reported he was threatening people with a samurai sword.

Officers arrived after the man reportedly entered a Vancouver Walmart.

The store was evacuated, and the man, identified as 43-year-old Ravi Saxena, eventually surrendered without hurting anyone.

In addition to the sword, police also said Saxena had a 5-inch long knife in his pocket.

Saxena was charged with felony harassment, dangerous weapon and displaying a weapon.
