New homeowners find human head, hands in deep freezer while cleaning property

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/Gray News) - New homeowners in Colorado made a shocking discovery last week at their property in Grand Junction.
Investigators confirmed that a human head and a set of human hands were found inside a deep freezer at the home on Pinyon Avenue.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, the property was recently sold, and the new homeowners found the human remains while they were cleaning.
Authorities said the remains could not be immediately identified but they plan to perform a thorough and detailed investigation.
