Tractor-trailer dangles on side of interstate overpass

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB/Gray News) - A tractor-trailer slightly dangled over the side of an overpass on a Connecticut interstate on Tuesday morning.

The North Haven Fire Department said the accident happened on I-91 southbound.

The mishap closed the two left lanes, the state Department of Transportation reported, and first responders blocked off the road under the overpass.

Firefighters said that the Department of Transportation and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection responded.

There’s no word on injuries or a cause.
